Terms and conditions

1. Applicability

These terms apply to all quotes, agreements and deliveries by Lichtplein. We supply businesses and institutions only; Dutch law applies to all agreements.

2. Quotes and prices

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. All prices exclude VAT and shipping. Obvious pricing errors do not bind Lichtplein.

3. Minimum order

The minimum order is stated per item: 10 units for wiring accessories, the carton for luminaires. Prices apply per item per order.

4. Delivery

Delivery takes place within 5 working days of order confirmation unless agreed otherwise. Columns and charging lanterns are delivered within the lead time stated in the quote. Lead times are indicative; exceeding them gives no right to compensation or cancellation, except in case of intent or gross negligence.

5. Retention of title

Delivered products remain the property of Lichtplein until all claims have been paid in full.

6. Warranty

Luminaires carry a 5 year manufacturer warranty from the delivery date (compact floodlights 3 years), wiring accessories and charging lanterns 2 years, under normal use and professional installation according to instructions. The warranty covers replacement or repair; consequential damage and installation costs are excluded.

7. Returns

Returns are only possible after prior approval, within 14 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging. Custom and customer-configured products are excluded.

8. Complaints

Visible defects must be reported in writing within 5 working days of delivery, with photos and order number.

9. Liability

Lichtplein's liability is limited to the invoice amount of the delivery concerned. Lichtplein is not liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage and lost profit.

10. Payment

Payment is made in advance via the offered payment methods, or within 14 days of the invoice date for approved accounts. Statutory commercial interest applies to late payment.
