Ordering
What is the minimum order?
For wiring accessories the minimum is 10 units per item. Luminaires are supplied per carton; the minimum is shown on every product. Steel columns are ordered per unit, aluminium columns and charging lanterns are supplied per project.
Can I order a sample?
Yes. Request a sample via the contact form or the quote page; we then supply one unit at unit price, even if the minimum order is higher. The amount is settled with your follow-up order.
Do prices include VAT?
No. We sell to businesses only; all prices on the site exclude VAT.
How does project pricing work?
The price on the site is the first tier. From 100 units per item (columns from 20 units) you receive a project price on request. If you put a larger quantity in your quote list, the Request project price button appears right away.
Can I order quickly by item number?
Yes. On the Quick order page you paste item numbers and quantities, straight from a spreadsheet if you like. We check the lines and put everything in your quote in one go.
Can I order a column with luminaire and connection box in one go?
Yes. Every column page shows the matching luminaires, the connection box and the fuses with an add button. The quantity follows the number of columns automatically.
Delivery
What is the lead time?
Luminaires and wiring accessories ship within 5 working days of order confirmation from our European stock. Steel lighting columns are delivered by truck within 3 to 5 weeks; aluminium columns and charging lanterns have a project lead time stated in the quote.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping costs 25 euro excl. VAT per order. From 200 euro excl. VAT we ship free of charge. Lighting columns and items on request are supplied per project, with transport costs stated in the quote.
Do you deliver to the project address?
Yes, straight to the project address if required, also phased per building section.
Do you also deliver to Belgium and Germany?
Yes. We deliver in the Benelux and Germany; shipping and lead time are stated in the quote.
Warranty and returns
What warranty do I get?
Luminaires carry a 5 year manufacturer warranty as standard (compact floodlights 3 years, modular stadium floodlights 7 years, the circular post-top luminaires 10 years), steel columns 5 years on the galvanising, wiring accessories and charging lanterns 2 years. The term is stated on every item. All products are CE certified.
How does a warranty claim work?
Report the issue with photos via our contact form. For an accepted claim you receive a replacement free of charge.
Can I return orders?
Returns by arrangement: unused, in original packaging, within 14 days of delivery. Columns and custom work are excluded from returns.
Business
How does a business account work?
You register with your company number. After approval you order at wholesale terms and on invoice if required.
Do you sell to consumers?
No, Lichtplein supplies businesses and institutions only.
Can I buy as a reseller?
Certainly. At structural volume we agree separate pricing and private label is possible.
