New: lighting calculation for 350 euros
Lichtplein now makes a lighting calculation for a fixed price of 350 euros excl. VAT. Supply a drawing, a Google Maps image or just the address and receive a proposal with luminaires, columns, quantities and prices, usually within a few working days.
A fixed price for a complete proposal
Lichtplein has recently started offering a lighting calculation for a fixed price of 350 euros excl. VAT. What is new is not only the price but above all the low threshold: you do not need a finished DWG drawing. A floor plan, a screenshot from Google Maps or just the address of the project site is enough to get started.
You usually receive a proposal within a few working days with the luminaires, columns and quantities from our own range, including light levels and prices. The calculation is intended for installers, electrical contractors and municipalities; Lichtplein sells to businesses only.
Three ways to supply your data
- Drawing: a DWG, PDF or sketch with length, width and height. A good basis for halls, offices and car parks.
- Google Maps image: a screenshot of the aerial view on which you mark the area to be lit, existing columns and the site boundary. Suitable for car parks and business premises.
- Address: we retrieve the aerial image ourselves and draw in the column positions. Suitable for streets, cycle paths and open sites.
Also state the use, the mounting height or light point height and the required colour temperature. The more complete the request, the faster the proposal.
What you get back
The report contains the values clients ask for: the average, minimum and maximum illuminance in lux, the uniformity Uo, an isolux plot and the luminaire positions with mounting height and tilt angle. We usually calculate with a maintenance factor of 0.8, so the installation still meets the requirement after years of use.
As guide values we use 150 lux for a warehouse with racking, 300 to 500 lux for production, 5 to 20 lux for a car park and 3 to 10 lux for a residential street. If your client has its own requirement or a UGR limit against glare, we calculate with that.
Luminaires and columns from one range
Because we calculate with luminaires we hold in stock ourselves, the parts list is immediately your order list:
- Halls: ATRIA high bays, flat with UGR<21, linear above racking or as a UFO with plug-in sensor, up to 180 lm/W.
- Streets and sites: VIA street luminaires with 10 kV surge protection on the steel TURRIS columns of 4 and 6 metres, with NEXUS column connection boxes.
- Facades, sites and sports pitches: FLUX floodlights and ARENA for tennis and padel.
We also advise per space on dimming, sensors and colour temperature, so the driver choice (DALI-2, 1-10V or dip switch) in the proposal is right.
From calculation to delivery
We deliver the calculated luminaires from European stock within 5 working days, steel columns within 3 to 5 weeks and aluminium columns within 4 to 6 weeks. For projects from 100 luminaires or 20 columns, request a project price via /en/offerte/. Unsure about a luminaire? Then we discuss the choice with you beforehand via /en/contact/.
How to request the calculation
Fill in the form at /en/lichtplan/, or email your drawing or screenshot to info@lichtplein.nl, and state the use, height and required light level. If anything is missing, we contact you before we start calculating.
Frequently asked questions
What does the lighting calculation cost?
A fixed price of 350 euros excl. VAT per calculation, including the report with lux values, uniformity, luminaire positions and a parts list with prices.
How quickly do I receive the proposal?
Usually within a few working days of a complete request; if data is missing, we ask for it first.
I only have an address. Is that enough?
For streets, sites and car parks it is; we retrieve the aerial image ourselves. For a hall we need at least length, width and height.
Do you also calculate with luminaires from other suppliers?
No. We calculate with our own range, so the parts list is available from stock and you get up to 5 years warranty on the calculated luminaires.
Are columns and connection boxes included in the proposal?
Yes. For outdoor projects we include steel TURRIS columns of 4 or 6 metres, with NEXUS column connection boxes. Aluminium CIVIS columns are supplied on a project basis.
Request your lighting calculation via /en/lichtplan/ and order the calculated quantities from ATRIA and VIA straight from stock.
